More and more, Spain is becoming a racetrack paradise. The new millennium is seeing more and more motor sports stadiums built also in the northern part of the country. For those who travel with their own car this easily saves a whole day of transport. The first one of the new tracks in Spain´s North is Alcarras. The exciting up- and downhill circuit is situated ca. 100 kms in the South west of Barcelona. Last winter, international race teams used the facilities for professional testing. In the meantime the infrastructure with pitboxes, Medical Center,  bridge leading over the start/finish straight into the infield and the cafeteria from which you can overlook almost the entire circuit have been completed.
