If you need a pre-season testing opportunity in mediterranean climate you no longer have to go as far as Spain´s South. In the past years, more and more attractive circuits have been built in Spain´s North, and the most complete among them so far is Alcarras, next to Lleida and only 1 hour´s drive from Barcelona. During winter, professional racing teams are regular visitors – hence Tom Sykes´ lap record for bikes, established at a January Suzuki SBK test.. And if you are looking for efficiency not only on your bike, the Alcarras Test Days are perfect: 4 day´s of track time are packed in three days, the weekend date saves you days away from your work – not to speak of the much shorter travelling. technically challenging corners of any kind and loads of thrill thanks to the ups and downs of up to 9 %. Also the circuit´s infrastructure is state of the art, to say the least: The Medical Center is perfectly equipped to highest standards, pitboxes are spacy and all equipped with shower and toilet, the marshals know their job. The track restaurant offers breakfast, daily menus and snacks at a good price. Even a swimming pool for summer months is part of the paddock.


The event programme is made up specially for racers, with 2.5 hours open pitlane regime every day plus 4 sessions in which two and four stroke racers go out separately. Also sports riders with less racing ambitions can ride exhaustively: For them, 8 sessions of 20 minutes each are scheduled every day. Airports are close (Barcelona, Lleida), and hotels of any category within 15 minutes drive.
